POSSIBLE Mobile Denver Celebrates Successful Q1 by Giving Back

Written by: on May 5, 2017

Every quarter, POSSIBLE Mobile praises their employees by dedicating a workday to go do something fun as a team. In the past, the event has consisted of baseball games, arcade bars, and even curling, but this year the team decided to give back to a charitable cause. On May 4th, 2017, the POSSIBLE Mobile Denver office spent the day building bikes to donate to Wish for Wheels, a nonprofit organization that gives brand new bicycles and helmets to children of low income communities. The organization believes that bicycles improve the quality of life for children and their communities through health, education, safety, community, and leadership.

The day began with a presentation at the POSSIBLE Mobile Denver office to acknowledge all of the hard work the company has contributed during their first quarter. Following the presentation, the team headed to the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Denver where lunch and drinks were provided and bikes were built.

Wish for Wheels has a unique model that is dedicated to team building and employee engagements through building bikes for kids. The bike build was run by Colorado Team Building, another local organization. All of the POSSIBLE Mobile employees were broken up into groups and then assigned several team building exercises in order to receive the bike parts and tools. Once all of the team building challenges were completed and the bikes were built, the team headed outside to test them out and pack them up to be brought to children. Wish for Wheels remains successful as a result of their corporate partners and all of the volunteers in the community.

This event was one for the books and the team thoroughly enjoyed giving back to the community while celebrating a successful first quarter.
